Screencaps from the official red carpet interview at the Minds In The Water Artivist Film Festival screening that I posted yesterday have now been added to the Gallery! Isabel was so sweet in the interview, you can really see her eyes light up as she talks about this cause and see her passion for it.

As expected, Isabel attended the premiere of Minds In The Water at the Artivist Film Festival a few days ago. So far I’ve only come across a few pictures, but we can see Isabel wearing a pretty white dress with her blonde hair styled down, posing with her friends and fellow activists Dave Rastovich and Hannah Fraser.
A couple of photos have been added to the Gallery, one of which was tweeted by @HumaneSociety, and you can watch a few videos from the screening further down this post. As we posted about a few weeks ago, Isabel took part in a Q&A about the documentary and dolphins after the screening. Not only have the Artivist Film Festival posted videos from that, but we also have a lovely interview with Izzy from the red carpet!
You can also find several more photos posted here, although as they have the photographers name stamped on them they are obviously personal photos so we won’t be posting them here.
Minds in the Water is a feature-length documentary following the quest of professional surfer Dave Rastovich and his friends to protect dolphins, whales and the oceans they all share. Through Dave’s journey—a five-year adventure spanning the globe from Australia to the Galapagos, Tonga, California, Alaska and Japan—we see one surfer’s quest to activate his community to help protect the ocean and it’s inhabitants.

Another trailer for Immortals has been released today! This is the 3rd one we’ve been treated to, after the teaser and the official trailer. This one looks a lot darker, with lots more action scenes and more visually stunning shots. I’ve even noticed a few new shots of Isabel as Athena! The trailer is so fast moving but I think I managed to pick Isabel out! We get to see her full costume as Athena, and if I’ve spotted right, we even see her in some fighting scenes! It looks good! Watch the trailer below, and check back here for screencaps from it later today find screencaptures in our Gallery…

Hello Isabel fans! I’ve been working hard on our Style section, and this weekend have made a start on the Accessories page. This page is to catalogue all the different accessories Izzy has worn through the years, to public events and ‘off duty’ in candid photos. See how she wears different accessories and what her favourite styles and types are. And you will notice she has her favourites! I’ve started the page off with Headwear, including hats, flowers in the hair, fascinators and the Isabel Lucas trademark – headbands! She really does rock the headband like no other. I hope you enjoy this page.
As you can imagine, it will take some time to build up that page and put together collections of all the other accessories she has worn, so stay tuned as I continue working on it gradually. More Style section additions are coming in the next few updates…
Whilst browsing Isabel’s IMDB profile, I noticed a new film listed under her Filmography. IMDB isn’t exactly known for it’s reliability or accuracy these days, so we’ll take Isabel’s rumoured involvement with a pinch of salt for now. Here are some details though:
Love Written in Blood is a drama/thriller/horror listed as being released in September 2012. Erik Magnusson is writing and directing, with Rhys Malone as a co-director, and Andres Heinz a co-writer. Aaron Johnson, Amanda Seyfried, and Xavier Samuel are listed as co-starring. The plot reads as:
The movie depicts a couple (portrayed by actors Aaron Johnson and Gabriel Liotta) in a love-hate relationship. The couple repeatedly fight, break things, steal, and make up again, with scenes flashing back to happier times in their relationship.
Filming is said to have started in England in the middle of July. We know Isabel was in Belgium filming Loft for several weeks last month, so maybe we’ll see her catching a flight across the Atlantic in the coming weeks, if this rumour is true.
See more on IMDB’s page for the movie.
We’ll keep you posted on Isabel’s involvement with this movie.
As posted about a while ago, Immortals went to Comic Con about two weeks ago, where new footage was shown and some of the cast and crew took part in a panel discussion. Isabel was not in attendance (if she was, you would obviously have known about it here!), but I thought you might be interested in some tidbits from the event anyway. Below are snippets from and links to articles written about the panel.
If you want to see more from the cast’s appearance at Comic Con then I recommend visiting our wonderful family site MrCavill.com for photos, videos and interviews with him and the cast.
A new poster for the film was also released, and you can enjoy that in our Gallery. Look closely for Athena – can you see her?
2. Freida Pinto greatly enjoyed watching her buff and often shirtless male co-stars in action
Not unlike “300,” the film appears to be heavy on testosterone, with an ensemble of chiseled male actors wearing very little as they go through the motions of making war. Pinto said it was a refreshing change of pace to be the least exposed actor on set. “My favorite part was watching the men,” she said. “I think it’s very rare that you get to be a part of a film where the men have to bare it all and the women can keep everything covered. Tarsem has an amazing vision, and he has the imagination of a three year old – only he can bring it out.”

I thought it was about time for another update, and I discovered a bunch of photos lying around on my computer waiting to be uploaded here. So I’ve added them, and they’re all over the Gallery, including a few scans, photoshoot pictures, candid additions, charity photos and appearance hqs. Click the Last Uploads link or thumbnails below to see everything that’s been added. The most notable additions are linked below.
We also have a new Immortals poster featuring Isabel as Athena – this is practically the same as the original character poster of her released, except this one has some additional text information on it.
A special mention has to go the appearance hq additions though! The newly added pics from the “I Am Number Four” Los Angeles Premiere and WonderCon – Day 2 are just some of the most beautiful photos I’ve seen of Isabel. They really showcase her natural beauty … and added to that, she’s smiling in some of the photos and she looks incredibly pretty. You’ll enjoy these. We’re really lucky to have these HQs, so browse, enjoy … and then browse some more!

Artivist Film Festival announced today that “Minds In The Water,” a feature-length documentary about a professional free surfer whose mission to save dolphins–our mammalian fellows–became an international cause célèbre, will open the 2011 festival in Hollywood, August 18-20.
The Opening Night Film presentation marks the North American premiere of the film. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is the Official Opening Night NGO Partner.
The film follows the quest of professional surfer Dave “Rasta” Rastovich and his friends to protect dolphins, whales and the oceans they all share. Through a five-year adventure – from Australia to the Galapagos, Chile, California, Alaska and Japan – we see one surfer’s transformation from observer to activist in his desire to defend the seas and its inhabitants.
Along the way, Rasta is joined by fellow surfers and even Hollywood celebritie
for its contents. This is a safe-cache copy of the original web site.
