Final Fantasy Type-0 V-Jump Scans

The latest issue of V-Jump which came out today has two pages dedicated to Final Fantasy Type-0. It features two new characters: Trey and Cater.

Trey is a skilled archer who is quite mature and wise. People tend to seek him for advice due to his vast knowledge of the happenings around the world. On the other hand, Cater uses a shotgun with magic infused shells. She can't move while firing but has unlimited ammo at her disposal. Cater is quite confident of herself and is full of emotion. Deuce has already been revealed before. She possesses a flute which can afflict different status ailments to enemies. She is a hard worker and is also a bit stubborn at times.

Up till now, 14 Class Zero characters have been revealed. Yet, there is no character who represents the card with number ten. Will there be one final Class Zero character and will he be playable? We'll let you know when we find out so stay tuned!

Final Fantasy Type-0 Demo

A Final Fantasy Type-0 demo will be available for download on August 11th from the Playstation Store. The demo is identical to the one on display at the Square Enix demo event in Odaiba. This means that there will be four missions and seven characters. Also, by playing the demo, you can unlock special summer clothing in the final version of the game.

Final Fantasy Type-0 Release Date

Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy Type-0 will be released on the 13th of October. The game will consist of 2 UMDs and will cost ¥7,700.

A trailer was also shown at the Odaiba demo event and is now available to watch on youtube.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Release Date

The North American version of Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in January 2012, a month after the Japanese release. The game will be available for both PS3 and Xbox360 consoles.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 at E3 2011

At the E3, Square Enix showed a full trailer of Final Fantasy XIII-2. The Japanese version of the game is set to be released in December this year. Also, there will be an update to the PS3 version of the original Final Fantasy XIII which will add Easy Mode since right now this is only available to Xbox360 players.



Noel's surname has been revealed to be Kreiss and we also get to hear what his voice is like. A new combat system called Cinematic Action has been introduced which in the trailer is followed by Lightning riding on Odin in Gestalt Mode and fighting Chaos Bahamut.

From what is heard from the trailer, one wonders why the people think Lightning is dead and why Serah is the only one who holds on to the belief that she may still be alive. What does Noel mean when he says that he wants a future in which everyone lives and how does he fit into the story? Why does Lightning fight Chaos Bahamut and does he have any connection to Fang? I guess we'll find out in the coming months or when the game comes out.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Teaser Trailer

Gamespot posted a 20 second teaser trailer of Final Fantasy XIII-2. The characters shown are Lightning, Serah, Noel and Team Nora. The battle system appears to be the same as that of the original Final Fantasy XIII, including the paradigm shift and ATB system. More information is expected in the coming days especially during the E3 event period so stay tuned.
