"ILLEGAL FRAUDSTERS"

I attempted to end contact with them almost a year ago because of their deliberately poor service and intent to outright take my money for nothing, I am still losing sleep and being harrased by their staff today.

I would plead with you to save yourself the time and heartache, go elsewhere, this company has stressed me out to such an extent and had me in such a state I don't know what to do anymore. They have made a grown man cry, more than once.

"Unlawful Billing Methods"

I used fasthosts over 2 years ago, they had a security breach and changed my password. I could not access my account. As I could not not access my account I could not update my credit card details as I did not update my credit card details on time due to their mistake they penalised with me a £20 charge. They claimed this was the cost of the reminder e-mails they sent to my address. I claimed this was unlawful, their rude customer service team replied "no it's not" and "tough luck". I cancelled...

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - RIP-OFF MERCHANTS"

This company's service and attitude is truly shocking. Once they have your money, that's it - you WILL not receive the service you paid for; requests to support are (eventually) replied to with a standard response saying the issue is resolved (which it never is), and then complaints or requests for a refund are ignored. I will get my money back of these people through the courts, but my advice to everyone else is steer well clear of this company....

"Seriously shocking"

After 3 days of trying to get a problem with passwords resolved, and at least 6 conversations with call centre staff in (I think Philipines), I've had enough and closing down my account with them. They are okay to use when no problems, but when they try "upgrading" your account for free....the process was a shambles. We gave them plenty of time and patience to resolve but they just keep failing. Probably the worse IT company of any sort I have dealt with. ...

"Fasthosts....not an apt name! Avoid like the plague!"

Where do I start? Well, ignoring the extensive downtime due to security problems, extensive email downtime a few times this year (literally 3 days with no email), oh, and ignoring the outsourced support to India where staff only work from scripts, and the slow (if at all) response to support via email, my main issues were with their slow servers (particularly when using php pages). "AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE"

I bought a supposedly easy to use hosting package with them and had nothing but trouble with Sitebuilder. Couldn't upload any pix at all. Changed browser, as suggested, made no difference. Spent hours on premium rate lines trying to get a human being to sort it out, only to be told they couldn't and they would 'escalate' the problem. After a week and countless emails, most of them automated ones saying they'd assume my problem was resolved and close the query unless I replied, they finally solved...

"Terrible, absolutely Terrible company"

Our website has been down for FOUR days, with subsequent loss of business! Calls to the support line results in a half hour hold and then a hangup! e-mails are going unanswered.... Never ever ever will use this absolutely terrible company again. Please AVOID. 500+ 1 star reviews cannot be wrong....

This is the worst and most unreliable email hosting we have ever used in over 15 years of hosting corporate email! fasthosts.co.uk is down once a month. No pattern. We run 50 email boxes â 11 go down one month for 3 days. Then the next month 5 go down for 48 hours. Yet their website says no servers are down! ...

I have been using Fasthosts for about 3 years now, although their customer service is a little slow, my experience havnt been to bad with them. I have 3 accounts, in one of them i have over 900 domains. Not as bad as you lot are making out to be honest....
