spacer Two people–a 62-year-old man and woman–sustained injuries this Saturday as a result of crashing into a sea wall while riding a water scooter naked. The two were out-of-town visitors to the Cypress Cove Nudist Resort and had borrowed the personal water craft (PWC) from another guest.

According to the Orlando Sentinel report, the man broke both arms and scratched up his head; the woman’s injuries were not disclosed, though we may be better off not knowing what happened to her. According to Wikipedia, most personal water craft manufacturers offer warnings that, aside from the standard physical injury risk of PWCs, they pose direct risk to human orifices. From Wikipedia: ”Unless a rider is appropriately dressed in garments made out of a strong, thick substance like neoprene (as is commonly found in wetsuits), the jet may penetrate any orifice it reaches.”

We’re not sure if the two sported personal flotation devices of any kind, but judging by the photos posted from Cypress Cove onto its website, most activities are done completely and totally in the nude, even water scooter-ing. Let’s just hope her injuries were minimally invasive.
