Moving to Minneapolis
If you haven’t already read on the Scared Panda blog, I don’t know why you wouldn’t have because its fantastic, Katie and I are moving home to Minneapolis. We’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in two amazing cities – Chicago and New York. Our time in these cities has been invaluable and we’ve made countless cherished memories and friends. Over the past year or so, I’ve been getting more and more uninterested about working in a cube the rest of my life. Along with that there’s been a feeling to be more and more drawn to a life that allows us to spend more time with family and if all goes right, open a t-shirt shop. Minneapolis feels like the perfect place to open a shop and that is my goal for the next couple years. It will happen one way or another.
On February 1, we’re packing up our tiny apartment in the East Village and making the trek back to Minneapolis. Once there we’ll set up shop in our new apartment in the Warehouse District in Minneapolis.
We’ll be documenting the trip by sharing our playlists, favorite books on tape, pictures and some video of the trip using the Scared Panda blog, Facebook and Twitter pages once in awhile From Feb. 1 – 5.
The drive is estimated to take 21 hours. So if you have music or books on tape – nobody uses tapes anymore – suggestions I’ll take em.
