You've heard the news.  We're going green with our first (of many, we hope!) wind turbine installation. 

Our new Peterson's Butte  node will provide services to the Halsey, Albany, and Lebanon, Oregon areas as well as a good step for our planned mid-valley backbone between Portland and Eugene.  And since there isn't any grid power on the butte... the site will be 100% powered by wind and solar power.  Okay, we *may* put a generator up there as well, just in case.  But so far our calculations show that wind and solar alone should be enough to keep things running 24/7 all year long.We expect to put the site into service.

We plan to begin service on this node sometime in March, 2010.

This new network installation joins the rest of our 100% digital data network.  Existing services are already available in Corvallis, Albany, Halsey, Tangent, Philomath, and the surrounding areas.  For more information, call us at 541/929-3330.
