New Marketing Subscription Service!
We are now offering a Marketing Subscription Service for retailers to automatically receive Launch Kits for each new Looney Labs release. A Launch Kit ships about a month before street date and contains a demo copy of the game, along with a poster, a playmat, 25 promo card postcards, and now - starting with the Oz Fluxx Kit - a limited edition Turn Token Challenge Coin! If you are a retailer who sells our games - please call your sales rep at either ACD or Alliance and sign up for a Marketing Subscription from Looney Labs!
New Distribution Deal
Looney Labs announced today that in an effort to increase efficiency in the market and to expand their marketing support of retail stores, they will be condensing their distribution network, effective immediately. In the U.S. hobby game market, Looney Labs game titles will be available through ACD Distribution and Alliance/Diamond Game Distributors. In Canada, Lion Rampant will become Looney Lab's primary distributor, while Publisher Services, Inc. (PSI) will continue to supply Looney Labs games to international markets as well as the U.S. mass market and book trade. Full Press Release • Authorized Distributors
The Looney Labs Holiday Gift for 2011
Our 2011 Holiday Gift is a digital release of rules for a new game for Looney Pyramids - It's called Pyramid Shambo and it's a tournament-style version of Rock-Paper-Scissors!
Pyramids are used as scoring markers, and the penalties for losing a round escalate when players get into those cycles where they keep matching each other's choice. When you lose all your pyramids you get knocked out of the game, after which there are consequences for those who "invested" in your future by collecting pyramids of your color.
2-5 can play with 1 Rainbow stash, and if you also have a Xeno stash, as many as 10 can play! It's easy and exciting, and it's great for a group to play at a big dinner table.
The Rules are now online - but DOWNLOAD THIS PDF and your rules sheet is accompanied by a recipient-printable holiday card. Happy Holidays from everyone here at Looney Labs!
Our web site has a new look!
The new web site we have been working on for months is finally live!
You will find a bunch of new content, like ABOUT US and OUR HISTORY, and we have moved over all the main pages for OUR GAMES and created a whole new section for the game rules for LOONEY PYRAMIDS in a nifty new RULES GUIDE. Much of the content of our web site is still over on our old server, and the store locator and online store don't have the new look on them yet, but this is a big step forward! Things will continue moving to the new server over time... please be patient as we continue to move sections and roll out new features.
