What bothers me is that I now get these popups twice a day or so. At it’s surface, that’s not the bothersome bit. The most bothersome bit is that I get them on my iPad as well - which doesn’t have the ability to install browser extensions.

Having them pop up on a platform that doesn’t support the extension means that either A) They’re sending these out haphazardly to any and everyone regardless of their actual usage of Missing E, or B) They already have my account flagged as utilizing Missing E, they already have my assertion that I will continue to do so, and therefore they’ve chosen to continue to send these popups out regardless of whether I’m actually using it at the time.

The more likely scenario is B, meaning that Tumblr has chosen to provide the following choice to its users: either stop using this extension, or we will go out of our way to intentionally degrade your user experience one way or another.

That’s the bothersome bit.

A fine AUD indeed, in an underrated year.  The last performance (of only 8) of Bobby’s R&B vehicle Superstitious.  I saw Phil here in 2001 (with Willie opening!) and sold a burrito to some dudes who had been to this show.  They kept turning nervous glances to this weird old building on the hill overlooking the lot, until one of ‘em mentioned that when they’d been here in 1985 they were all tripping and there was a rumor going around that the house was a creepy old insane asylum.  Those were scary words back then… anyway, the whole place smelled like chocolate.  

And how often to you get a first-set three-fer like Jerry’s Birdsong>Comes a Time>Deal?  Almost never!  There’s a nice Charlie Miller out there too.
