About

spacer

I work like a PC, play like a Mac and am easily distracted by anything (it doesn’t even have to be bright & shiny). Let’s just call it “hyper-aware”. For anyone who cares, my top five strength themes are:

  1. Communication
  2. Activator
  3. Relater
  4. Maximizer
  5. Arranger

Stuff I dig…

  • Anything foodie
  • Life hacker gadgets
  • Big screen and little screen movies
  • Almost every genre of music (some more than others)
  • I don’t love exercise, but do it anyway so I can eat more food.

About my faith and job …

I used to think church was for weak, out-of-touch people who just needed to “get a life.” Now I believe the local church is the hope of the world; it just needs some help. I’ve been on the staff team at Granger Community Church since 2002. As Communications director, I spend my days learning from my mistakes and advocating less clutter for a better life and better world. (Too dramatic? Maybe. Then again, maybe not.)

I wrote a book…

About my family…

They make me better and rock my world.

  • Mark is patient, brilliant and hilarious. He believes in me when I don’t believe in myself and keeps believing in me even when I don’t deserve it.
  • Erin is larger than life in brains, looks and heart. She rejects status quo, has the guts I wish I had and inspires everyone around her.
  • Emmi is sweet and self-motivated with an unusually awesome artistic and authoring talent. Her quiet and clever wit catches you by surprise.
  • Easton is the last to take life too seriously and the first to notice when someone needs help. He loves sports, fantasy football, sketchbooks, building things and getting attention.
