Getting Started

The easiest way to get started understanding Zanby is to join the free community and find a group or start one of your own.  free.zanby.com is a fully functioning instance of Zanby that anyone can use.

We are just beginning to figure out how to get everyone access to the code, how to have useful and fast support, and how to get everyone who wants to contribute in and active.  This is your community, and it doesn’t fly without your help.  If you see something that doesn’t make sense, or should be changed, just let us know!

Finding the Source

We’re working as fast as we can to get the repository cleaned up, and will soon be putting the code up on github.

Until then:  Here is a snapshot of the current code.

Our future plan is to have a released/tested version, in tarball format, and github for latest/greatest/freshest bits.

Installation Instructions

Our installation instructions are still pretty rough.  In the wiki, take a look at installing on a development environment and related items. Please ask us questions in the forums.  And, help us clean up the installation instructions by contributing!

Getting Help

We have migrated our internal docs to the wiki, and we recognize that there is a ton of stuff that is only clear to us.  So, find us in the forums for installation help, setup help, community help, or just general HELP.  The more questions you ask, the more of our oral history & tribal knowledge will get written down and shared out — so please, ask!
