People who do improv often talk about this weird and amazing sense of "groupmind" that can emerge when people play together. It's like the borg but less creepy with no android parts required. It can happen in jazz and sports sometimes too. This presentation will address what that is and some research about what happens in our brains when that "groupmind" happens.
