  • Elder Nomination Period Runs through February 19

The Elders, who serve as representatives of the church, are nominated by the congregation and undergo a prayerful screening, interviewing, and approval process. Approved candidates are presented to Willow's Participating Members, who have a 30-day opportunity to express any concerns directly to a nominated Elder candidate, utilizing the principles for conflict resolution that Jesus taught in Matthew 18. Once approved, Elders serve a four-year term.

To learn more about the Elders, or if you feel led to nominate a Willow Creek member, please read the following information on Church Governance and the Elder Nomination Process.
