The APW Advertising Philosophy:

APW is an advertiser supported site, and we believe that advertising can be done ethically. You will never see paid content on this site that is not labeled as a sponsored post. You will never see ads that try to make you feel bad about your own wedding, or emotionally manipulate you into buying something you don't want. You will never see advertisers that haven't signed our sanity pledge, and passed our test for 'people we would like to have at our weddings.'

We take on sponsors who are artists who happen to make their livings doing weddings, and we love when artists are able to make a living doing art. APW sponsors are grounded, sane, and love APW readers. In fact, most of them have been with the site for more than two years. We hear that APW readers make for the very best clients (smart, funny, grounded)... and that APW advertisers make for the very best vendors (talented, kind, sane). We aim to keep it that way.

We offer two kinds of advertising on APW:

Front page advertising includes an ad on the front page of the site, the ability to buy sponsored posts, membership to APW's wedding elf forum and a free listing (marked as a sponsor) in the Vendor Directory. Rates start at $650, for an intro package of a sponsored post, three months of advertising and a directory listing. A listing in the vendor directory is our lower cost advertising option. The cost is $325 for a one year listing. You can read more about the directory here, and apply for a spot here.
