Time Warner vs. Comcast: The Race to Close the Service Window

We've written before about Comcast’s efforts to halve its customer-service installation timeframe from four hours to two. Well, apparently somebody noticed. Time Warner Cable announced last week that it has started setting up exact service call windows for customers in some cities. Elsewhere, the two-hour window has become nearly ubiquitous, and one-hour windows are on the rise. Let the service-window race begin.
