How did you choose the name white frog for Whitefrog?

The inspiration for our name came from a trip to a rain forest where we saw dart frogs in their natural habitat. Seeing the dart frogs in person, we noticed how REALLY tiny and yet REALLY visible they were because of their vivid coloring.

The visual appeal of these colorful little frogs against the lush greens of the rain forest made a lasting impression. The frogs on display came in all colors, from yellow to purple, blue, black, orange and numerous others – everything except white.

A comment was made “Hey, the name of the business could be ‘white frog’” and was shortly followed by a giddy epiphany, “and the tagline could be leap!” At that moment Whitefrog was created.

And that’s how we chose the name Whitefrog.

Matt Leeds ~ matt@whitefrog.org Matt’s sharp eye and drive for perfection keep Whitefrog thriving and continually make the world a better-looking place. If he ever leaves the office, he’ll be spending time with his wife, Sara Leeds, and their dog, Falina. Some of the movies that remain on Matt’s Netflix queue are Dr. Strangelove, Patton and The Fifth Element. If you’re ever in the Whitefrog office and hear Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture at volume 11, Matt’s the one controlling the Monster iPod Stereo.

Stephanie Perryman ~ stephanie@whitefrog.org As the most recent winner of the Whitefrog Art Competition, Stephanie took first place for her oil painting rendition of the Whitefrog logo. George Lucas or Tim Burton usually directs Stephanie’s favorite movies. When not making the world a better place at Whitefrog, you’ll find her enjoying delicious Italian food or at home next to her cat, Peanut. Jessica Bainbridge ~ jessica@whitefrog.org Jessica makes the office run smoothly and keeps our fridge stocked with the appropriate levels of caffeinated beverages. Also working with project management, Jessica is unabashedly cheerful at all hours of the day and night with her famous smile. As the most dedicated sports fan in the Whitefrog offices, Jessica will make you a fan of the San Diego Chargers if you don’t already have a favorite NFL team (or even if you do). Jessica is also a fiend for RedBull.

Marty Bruce ~ marty@whitefrog.org As a retired Naval Officer (LCDR), Marty brings a wealth of experience and leadership to our team. Marty is responsible for developing new business relationships and keeping Whitefrog supplied with great clients. Known for great conversation and a successful track record as a consultant, he can answer your questions and understand your vision. Want to get on Marty’s good side? Just offer him a tasty local brew from Hangar 24.

Thomas Todd ~ thomas@whitefrog.org A trained artist that has studied classical drawing and painting in Florence, Italy, Thomas is our missing link to high culture. When you call into Whitefrog to speak about new business, chances are you’ll hear his voice when your project is initially discussed. It’s been said that Thomas is a cat person, but Falina has kept him from bringing any feline friends to the Whitefrog offices. The ideal habitat for Thomas is overcast, slightly rainy with clean air like they have in our 42nd state.

Colin Robertson ~ colin@whitefrog.org Known to many as Captain of a Duffy boat, Dominator of XBOX Live and connoisseur of the finer beers of life, Colin is our go-to designer. Using a keen sense of composition and detail, he creates layouts and elements for User Interface design. Some of Colin’s past work includes 3D modeling for several popular video games. If it’s late in the afternoon, you can catch Colin heading on foot to Augie’s Coffeehouse for an afternoon break.

Rachel Kinney ~ rachel@whitefrog.org As a student at the University of Redlands, Rachel spends most of her time on campus appreciating the large trees. Around town, Rachel can be frequently seen at the Café Royal in the old Fox Theater, drinking an iced coffee during the warm days in Redlands. In her spare time, she also wrangles 6-year-old kids into playing what looks like a soccer game as a community service volunteer. Rachel is a design intern @Whitefrog, providing concept, layout and production assistance.

Matt Johnson (MJ) ~ mj@whitefrog.org Matt is an intern with Whitefrog and has spent the past several years gaining an artistic style. Not only a master of Adobe Photoshop, MJ has an impressive portfolio of creative works with a clothing line he developed (Destruction Clothing). When not utilizing creative skills, MJ spends most of his time locked to a snowboard or at Del Taco ordering ½ pound red burritos (go bold!).

Nick Bruce ~ nick@whitefrog.org Need something done around your office? Just call Nick – that’s what we do and it works every time. Nick helps in all areas of the office when we need extra capacity, from marketing prep to purchasing supplies to finding YouTube videos to walking the dog. It’s also important to keep Nick away from pollen as there appears to be some sort of allergic reaction when the two get together (don’t overreact if he passes out, it happens). When not IRL, Nick is working towards a level 80 druid.

Kelechi Anuforo (KC) ~ kc@whitefrog.org KC is an intern with Whitefrog and is currently obtaining his Master Degree in Computer Science from Cal State San Bernardino. KC and Joy are both students from Abuja, Nigeria.

Ogbanje Onyeche (Joy) ~ joy@whitefrog.org Joy is an intern with Whitefrog and is currently obtaining her Master Degree in Computer Science from Cal State San Bernardino. KC and Joy are both students from Abuja, Nigeria.

Falina ~ not interested in email. Falina’s two official responsibilities at Whitefrog are to enthusiastically greet anyone who comes to the door and spend the rest of the day sleeping on a cushion in the sun. When she’s not at Whitefrog she is a ruthless destroyer of trespassing rodents.
