For the last month we recommended that people hold off on joining InMotion while we figured out what was going on. We’re happy to report that throughout the middle of January, they seem to have improved the reliability of the server we were on. It’s important to note that even though we recommended holding off on joining InMotion last month, their uptime was still at over 99%. We feel comfortable in recommending their service again and will notify you here if anything further should change that.

While this is just below the uptime guarantee listed on their website of 99.9%, we are NOT RECOMMENDING InMotion for the time being. At the end of the day, 99.87% is still fairly reliable, but as you can see from the chart below there were multiple outages throughout the month.

Making matters even worse, when we tried to visit the site to publish this very article, the site was down again (not a good sign when the site’s very existence is to track InMotion Web Hosting’s uptime).
