NYU Interactive Arts
Luigi Nono is among the most remarkable Italian composers of the 20th century, known not only for his stunningly beautiful sounds and his use of space in performance, but also for his political message of justice and humanity.
These concerts are a unique and memorable event, bringing together, as advisors and performers, Nono's friends and partners who worked with him and know his music well.
The programs include signature compositions as well as a rarely performed composition for violinista caminante (walking violinist) and multiple channels of sound.
