 The Follicles of the James presents the 1st Ever Mid-Atlantic Beard & ‘Stache Competition on March 3, 2012 at Richmond’s very own Strange Matter, with all proceeds going to the Central Virginia Food Bank. We’ve got some awesome things and big surprises planned.

Tickets will be $5.00 for admission and an extra $5.00 to compete ($10 total), so choose your category wisely.

We’re also holding a food drive raffle. Each food item gets you a ticket that you can put towards any of our great raffle items. So bring as much as you can to the competition for the best chance to win.

Want to spread the word? Download and print out your own flyers, featuring Mid-Atlantic notables. Collect all 6!

Hang them up around town and post a photo of each to the Facebook event page or tweet it to #RVABeardContest, and the winner will get a limited edition high-quality copy of the Competition poster signed by the artist and all the judges!
