@yleesharvester
Great for beginners! Will tweet this. Generally, I think TwiTip is a very good place to find interesting stuff about twitter!
@nathancreitz
This is an ambiguous post, even though it is very helpful. The 13 “steps” are not steps at all, they are just links to some good advice. Steps would be more like the following (gleaned from your 13 steps above):
Step #1 – Provide useful tweets for your followers [link]
Step #2 – Brush up on twitter etiquette [link]
Step #3 – Develop your own purpose for twittering [link]
Step #4 – Find good twitter models and follow them [link]
etc.
As it stands, your “steps” are in random order and they merely provide links to other posts that explore these topics more fully. I’m sorry to critique you but I expect better from you.
Having said that, I am enjoying your 31dbb and have been following you for a long time. You’ve been very helpful to me in the past, but this post could’ve used some more work.
@vnesdoly
How am I supposed to have a life with all this good stuff to read?!

@KathieNelson
Really found this quick list helpful and wanted to share with my blog readers. When I use the Share This tool it doesn’t seem to be connecting. Is there a quicker way to do this?
Thanks!
@mysouthborough
Just getting started with Twitter to help promote my blog, so this is perfect timing. Thanks!
@forthelulz
The day I require a tutorial to serve up 140 characters of useless information is the day I stop using the web in general. Twitter is pointless masturbation, and most of you delusional self-important pricks know this to be true. But seriously…tips for twitter? FFS the net is a goner.
@edwardbeaman
Nicely collected. This is helpful both to the beginner and the regular user.
@ericblue
Great tips! I’d also recommend some Tips on finding a good Twitter client. I personally like TweetDeck the best (Linux, Mac & Windows) and Twitterific for iPhone.
@tweetRSVP
We are just launching a twitter search site that captures questions and requests for information that are being tweeted. It has been surprising to see the number of twitterers that are asking basic twitter questions. Your list of sites will be one that we can use to help these novice twitterers.

I know it’s been covered countless times by bloggers but I wrote a step-by-step guide to Twitter which seems to have been very well received: a newbie’s guide to using Twitter
@wchingya
This comes just at a right time. I was about to write an article introducing Twitter for a site, and some of these resources could be useful if the readers wish to know more. For those who’s in need to enhance their twitter network, a little glimpse at the search tools via this clickable chart might be helpful. All the best. ^^

Hi Darren. You have some very good tips there. But I would like to add that people should also read Twitter Power by Joel Comm. It truly IS an amazing book that brings tremendous value to understanding what Twitter is all about.
Your overview is a good foretaste of Joel’s book, but I do think people should deepen their understanding of the Twitterverse by focusing on what’s in it for themselves by learning from all the amazing good examples brought forth in Twitter Power.
Thanks for a good blog. I’ve added it to my RSS-feeds.
Cheers

These are fantastic ideas to ensure that anyone succeeds in using twitter. As long as one uses it for a purpose and not get bogged down in just constantly twittering, twitter is indeed a valuable tool.
