About Me

I am a proud mommy and happy wife in Salt Lake City, Utah.  But don’t ever say I’m “from” Salt Lake City.  I’m a California girl, and don’t you forget it!  I’m simply transplanted in Utah (which I have grown to absolutely love).

I teach piano to some wonderfully talented kids.  My piano teacher blog is here.

I love all things purple.  I go through a bag (ok, maybe 2) of frozen chocolate chips every week.  I hate trying new foods.  I eat the same thing for lunch every single day.   I make the best tasting but ugliest cookies in the world.

I love art, music, and books.  I am an avid explorer of wherever I am.  I have endless lists of attractions and sites I want to see in my town and in the world.  Since finances are never over-abundant, I settle for checking items off my list in my current place of residence, Salt Lake City, Utah.  Not a weekend goes by that I don’t explore some new side of Utah.

I drink water like it’s going out of style.  I don’t understand what the phrase “like it’s going out of style” means.

I spend too much time on the computer.

Thanks for reading.  Please leave a comment before you go!

I am not sure how I missed your blog but I am rectifying that immediately and adding it to my Utah Bloggers Rock blogroll! I like purple and I am a transplant as well – What an adorable blog you have and I am looking forward to peeking around! Have a great weekend!

I didn’t know that you teach piano. My favorite color is and always will be lavender! So much in common. Please invite me to explore Utah with you. Maybe one summer we can boat on the great salt Lake? I have always wanted to try that.

I discovered your blog through your Groundhog Day recipe and cute presentation of Dirt Pie. Thanks for letting me link to it! Now I’ll have to read all your previous postings to see what other creative ideas you’ve had!
