SquidLondon Squidarellas

This umbrella or Squidarella makes me smile. When the umbrella is dry it remains white.

But look what happens when it rains. The bird poo changes colour. Ha!

If you’re a bit squeamish about bird poo there are other styles to choose from like the New York cityscape.

Or the British Museum Squidarella. The design is inspired by the Norman Fosters Great Court. When it rains four London icons – Big Ben, Tower Bridge, London red buses and the pediment of the British Museum – appear along with flashes of the blue sky.

The video demonstrates how it works.

These Squidarellas are available to buy through the SquidLondon online shop and the British Museum Squidarella is available exclusively through the British Museum website and art shop.
