The crew from Malade Pathetics (mad illustrators / artists / purvayors of fine t-shirts) and the incredible (needs no introduction) BeciOrpin both put a unique spin on Valentine’s Day for our two latest cards.

We gave Beci the brief of ‘Lovestruck’ and she has delivered a sweet, subtle message from a secret admirer which we letterpress printed in a delightfully vibrant fluro pink and a gorgeous lime green. Blame cupid, and then grab it in our letterpress shop.

“These cards were designed for Sydney Hursey – a fresh, new baker of cakes who created the mind-blowing cupcakes for my own wedding.

Being still in humble start-up stages, Sydney was on a very tight budget for these cards. I set out to to create a circular card, appropriate to the fact that a plethora baked goods are indeed circular. I designed a logotype intended to feel retro, cheerful and fun to convey her own stylings and personality and tried to choose a color palette to reinforce that as well.”
