fresh air
you've heard that saying before, when something refreshing just breezed in, and everything's a little bit better because of it? well, this scent is just like that – a breath of fresh air. the kind you smell. pretty much named itself.

lavender lilac
when we thought of things that could make our ‘running barefoot through fields of lavender fantasy’ better, we kept mentally finding ourselves in nantucket. which led us to lilac. the effect was a floral summer dream—precisely what was intended for this fragrance.

Method Fabric Softner
january 30, 2012I just used Method Fabric Softner (liquid) for the first time. The liquid did not mix with the water in the rinse cycle. There are now stains on all of my clothes, which I cannot remove. I did not use this product directly on the clothes, but it adhered to the fabric in 'globs' and has discolored everything. Do not use this product!
Peony Blossom & Refills please
january 2, 2012I just bought the fabric softener in lavender lilac and I really like the way my clothes feel and smell coming out of the dryer. I have HE front loading washer and I find that a regular sized load takes about 5 pumps to get the perfect level of softness. I do wish that it was available in refills and that it was available in peony blossom scent. Peonies remind me of the smell of childhood dolls and is a very pleasant scent. I like to have my detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets to be the same scent (hint hint...please make it in dryer sheets too) and it gets weird if I have to mix the scents like I do now. Otherwise, this stuff is awesome. I've not noticed any of the problems other posters have mentioned. Not even on my dark colored clothes.
Refills Please!
october 14, 2011I love the fabric softener, although I do agree with some other posts that the scent doesn't really last that long. However, I my biggest issue is that I really want this to be available in the refill pouch like the detergent is! Please, please, please!
worst product ever!
october 13, 2011like your hand soap, like your dish -product,but this...used it on my baby's clothes -it doesn't work(used 6 pumps).tried it on my own clothes (8 pumps) and it doesn't work! so i used a half cup(like usual) and finally i received not perfect, but sutisfaction.so it's worthles and useles.
Great product but needs some fine tuning.
october 8, 2011First, I want to say I'm a huge fan of Method products. I've switched out all my soaps, detergents, cleaning products, etc. to Method as new products become available. So far the only slight disappointment I've had is with the liquid fabric softener. I find it doesn't disolve well and I end up with spots on some of my clothes. They are particularly noticeable on dark clothes. The spots usually come out when washed a second time without the fabric softener, but that really defeats the eco-friendly aspect. I also have noticed that the nice scent fades very quickly.
Love this product... however...
september 14, 2011I love this product, however I have noticed that it doesn't dissolve very well in cold water. My washer only has a cold water rinse - the last few times I have pulled the clothes out, there have been "clear" stains...when I bring them close to smell/inspect, all I can smell is the fabric softener. For now I have resorted to mixing with warm water before placing in washer - to help dissolve....but I shouldn't have to. I also noticed that the scent fades FAST - I hang a lot of clothes & they smell like "nothing" after they are dry...
Now, If only our Target would sell ALL of your products. They are also available at Philbrick's Fresh Market - however I would need a second mortgage to afford their prices (the mark up is UNREAL!)
;o)j~
PS: the new description indicates that there are more scents of this available - where are they?
It's nearly there.
august 16, 2011I'm really mixed about this softener, it works well, clothes come out soft and smooth and the concentrated formula packs a ton of loads into a nice compact bottle.
Buuuuut... I just don't like the Fresh Air scent at all. >.>
The smell is far too traditional and doesn't appeal to me. It feels like it's made for an older crowd, one that's accustomed to flatter, more blunt floral scents. It has a bit of staying power too, so I can't just ignore it or wait for it to go away.
I'd love it if there was something more modern, or even a free and clear option. *crosses fingers*
Refills PLEASE!
july 18, 2011I would really like to have the fabric softner refills! Plus I have to drive out of my way now because the Target up the street doesn't carry the fabric softner anymore :(. I really like Thomas's idea of Almond scent. . .I love fresh air and have not had any allergy issues at all, and the smell is very light LOVE IT! But I think I would like it in Almond too! And I am a woman ☺ I could also handle smelling like a nut, lol.
In full agreement.
june 7, 2011Like others here, I can agree with the following sentiments:
1. Would like a refill pack for the softener too!
2. While the scent is intense when first pulled out of the washer, it doesn't seem to last too long.
I actually only use 2 or 3 pumps (instead of the 4 mentioned on the label) because that really gets the job done.
Just want more scents!!!!
may 30, 2011I am in love with this fabric softener. It's method (duh!), it smells great, and lasts forever! I just wish there were more scents.
Love the product
may 30, 2011When will we get the refill bag?
