You Aren’t Being Creative

You aren’t being creative if you’re:
- …spending hours on Pinterest.
- …reading a book about creativity.
- …critiquing a work of art.
- …sitting under a majestic, starry night.
- …drinking mate at a hipster coffee shop.
- …keeping your version of Photoshop up to date.
- …at a creative conference with other creative geniuses.
- …at a Sigur Ros concert.
- …wearing the latest hipster clothes.
- …watching a TED talk.
- …criticizing another church’s marketing tactics.
- …brainstorming for hours an idea that will change the world.
- …reading this blog.
- …not creating something.
So go create!
Creativity is action. All those things are fine. But they mean nothing if you aren’t creating. Put feet to those inspirational moments. Create!

Amen! Does commenting on this blog count as being creative? ;)
I’ll make a special exception for this. :)
