Hi. I’m Tauni. It’s nice to meet you.

I am a totally non-traditional traditionalist, former public relations executive who spent the last 12 years handling communications and events for an array of clients from the NBA and Olympics to numerous high ranking politicians. I’ve spent time pitching sports in France and waking up early in New York to visit the Today Show.

After meeting my wonderful Mr. and his three boys, I refocused my career to spend more time at home in Salt Lake City. Today, I handle social media for a local agency, write for the newspaper and sometimes uses 10 words when five would probably do. Perfect for blogging, no?

I thought so, and started this blog in June 2010.

This blog is my exploration of everyday rituals, quirky holidays, family traditions and all of the things that make a house, a home.

Stick around for awhile and while you’re at it, why don’t you share your favorite traditions with me?

In addition to this blog, I host a party at BlogHer in August with Jill, Loralee and Stephanie called The Best Little Party.

I am also the founder of SNAP! – a social media conference catering to bloggers who focus on contemporary crafts, modern handmade, events and home DIY. Stop by and meet the 2012 team!

Meet some of the wonderful people who have featured my blog:
