Oreo Pudding Poke Cake

January 16, 2012

I’m so excited to share this Oreo Pudding Poke Cake with you today.

I had seen the idea on Pinterest from The Country Cook and knew I had to try it myself.

I made mine with Red Oreos with Valentines in mind, but you can do it with any kind of Oreo.

Here is how you can make it as well.

A super yummy and easy oreo pudding cake that everyone will love.
Ingredients
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (oil, water, and eggs)
  • 2 boxes of Oreo Pudding
  • 4 cups milk
  • Crushed oreos (use Red for Valentines day)
Instructions
  1. Make cake as directed using a 9×13 pan.
  2. While cake is still semi-warm, poke holes into your cake. I used the end of highlighter.
  3. Make pudding as directed on box and pour over cake.
  4. Sprinkle crushed oreos on top.

This cake was so simple and tasty. Everyone loved it.

I’ve had people ask where to get the Red Oreos, and they are a seasonal item. I found mine discounted at Target in January. I’ve also seen Pink Oreos and want to get some of those too for other Valentines goodies.

ENJOY!

This sound so easy and yummy!! Will have to try this soon! Thanks for sharing. I’ve done poke cakes before and used the end of a wooden spoon to poke the holes.

Looks delicious and want to try it, but wondering if you chill the pudding before you pour it, or pour it while still liquid-y and then chill the whole cake?

I let it set it for a minute or two and then poured it. I’ve also made it where it was still super liquid-y and it still worked. Hope that helps. spacer
