Dear You,

Yes — you!  I bet you’re ready to do your year-end wrap-up and set some magical intentions for 2012.  You’ve been noodling on some goals and reviewing big dreams.  You know it’s time to create some motivating and useful actions plans to keep yourself on track.

But how?  You’re not sure where to start.

How does a busy, achieving, bright gal go about all of that visualizing, ceremonies, mind-mapping, vision boarding, theme-setting, and action-planning without getting overwhelmed?  Last time you tried, you ended up with a pile of scribbled affirmations, a 10 year plan that you lost, and an excel spreadsheet that never saw the light of day.

You know ambitious, creative, connected woman who seem to have the process perfected to a golden science of asking for what they want and actually getting it.  But you’re just not sure how they do it…

Isn’t there some sort of process?  A simple, yet magical way  of getting uber deliberate about the year ahead that’s fun?  One that’s useful and profound, but not too hyper type-A or woo woo?

spacer “Despite the craziness of the holiday season (combined with the end of the semester – I’m a grad student so December is a doubly-busy time!), I loved taking time out for myself to really consider what aspects of 2011 I do and don’t want to take with me into 2012, and brainstorm my plan of attack for the next year.  It’s not something I could have done nearly as well without the guidance of the calls/worksheets.  And I’m looking forward to employing this kind of reflective journaling and brainstorming throughout the year.  Thanks for this, and Stratejoy in general!”  -Mary Beth
spacer “My favorite part was definitely making my vision board. Every time I look at it I feel inspired and motivated, and interestingly, I get a sense of home. It is a visual representation of who I am, who I want to become and where I am going, and I love having it as a focal point on my wall to help keep me centered!  Molly, thank you so much for putting this all together for us. After all the calls, interviews, exercises and challenges, I really feel a strong sense of what I want this new year to bring for me, and I know how to make it happen. I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to or felt so prepared for a fresh, new year so much!! THANK YOU!!” -Vanessa

**Three 60 minute recordings of Training Calls with Molly Mahar

  • Call One: Wrapping Up 2011 So You Can Learn and Let Go for a Fresh New Year
  • Call Two: Dreaming & Scheming & Plotting & Planning for a Magical 2012
  • Call Three: Creating a Meaningful Action Plan Tracker (complete with mini-celebrations, accountability ideas, and gorgeous visual reminders)

**20 Pages of Art-filled Worksheets.

Work through the concepts from the calls at your own pace. The 3 sets of worksheets each correspond to a call. I’ve crafted these sweetly homemade outlines for you to savor 2011, set intentions for 2012, and really plot out the kind of year you’re craving.  A few exercises included: appreciate your awesome, release what doesn’t serve you, create a year theme, figure out what it’s time for, track your cravings in different slices of life, break your dreams into maintenance or project goals, track action plans, write magical spells for the hard times, and heaps loads of love onto yourself.  The worksheets are instantly downloadable, filled with color, and ready to print so you can start scribbling right away!

**Seven 30 minute recordings of Inspirational Interviews.

I jammed with these 20-something women about how they approach goal setting/resolutions/manifesting/big dreaming in their personal and business lives.  The motivating interviews help you keep your energy up as you do your own work, provide some real life stories of what worked (and what didn’t!) in 2011, and provide loads of giggles.

spacer

  • Jenny Blake jammed about the motivation behind goals, mind-maps, and when dreams come true in even bigger ways than you could imagine.
  • Nicole Antoinette and I dove into life buckets, major lifestyle changes (running! giving up drinking!), and decoding what we actually want, not what we think we should want.
  • Kate Northrup spun stories about family rituals, major road trips, creating health, and not knowing what the Universe has in store for you (and why that’s a good thing sometimes).
  • Kyla Roma and I spoke about the power of creative journals, finding time to relax, and whirlwind years of major accomplishments.
  • Chelsea rapped on what her “non negotiables” are, the art of pivoting, and finding the balance between love to do and need to do.
  • Alexandra Franzen waxed poetically on words of the year, her brave declaration of worth, why she doesn’t write her 3 big goals down, and celebrations at the MAC counter.
  • Ev’Yan and I shared thoughts on dreaming, writing a book, ambitious partners, and carving out time to unwind in 2012.
  • That’s just me in dark sunglasses filling a empty spot in the collage. I’m the one doing the interviewing…

**Two bonus recordings

Just because!  I’m throwing in a call that leads you through an awesome process to create your theme for the year (especially useful if you’ve never done it before) and another one that contains reading of Shakti Gawain’s Clearing Blocks visualization.

“Thank you! It’s such a satisfaction to know I’ll be entering 2012 with a clear intention and action plan. No more Jan 1st anxiety.” -Julie
“It helped me process some of the stuff I’d been working on even further (like making a personal vision board that ended up looking very similar to my business vision board) and out of it came…….. my new tagline “Love made visible.”  I’m grinning about this one this morning.  I had my logo tweaked to better reflect my style (same concept, just softer and prettier) and added the tagline and every time I look at it I smile.  It is perfectly me (and everyone I’ve told about it says, “wow, that’s so you!”) and it came out of the work I did [with Create Your Magical Year].  Sooooo thank you for that too!” -Hannah
“Holy shit! I can’t wait to read this and do all the work. WOW, you’ve outdone yourself gorgeous!” -Laura

The CREATE YOUR MAGICAL YEAR Philosophy

spacer Adore Yourself.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.  It turns what we have into enough, and more.  It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.  It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.  Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”  -Melody Beattie

Whenever we embark on a journey of personal development, we need to come from a place of self-love, not self-hatred.  This starts with gratitude for everything we are and an innate knowing that we are already enough. Adoring yourself in practice means appreciating your strengths, having compassion for your missteps, and loving who you are becoming.

Trust Yourself.
Leading with this question “How do I want to feel?” as you go about your dreaming and scheming is vital to the process of trusting yourself… It is the motivation and the bright light behind any of your actions. If you get freaked out by declaring new actions or pausing work on others, you can always return to this question. Will doing X help me feel expansive, sexy or valued? How? Will declining an offer to do Y help me make room to feel peaceful, deliberate or electric? How?

By tuning into how specific actions honor (or don’t honor) your desired feelings, you can help yourself make better decisions about what is worth your time.  Make sense, sugarpop? Declare those feelings!!

Empower Yourself.
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear.  Action breed confidence and courage.  If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it.  Get out and get busy.”  -Dale Carnegie

Once we’ve finished with the high level connecting and oh-hell-yah dreaming, it’s time to empower ourselves through action.  It’s time to prioritize, plan and commit.   It’s time to be courageous and put ourselves out there in new way.  There’s a crystal clear level of clarity that can come from action. Taking action is the *secret*.  Sometimes our goals will be realized, sometimes we’ll fail.  But we’ll always be glad we tried…

spacer Molly,
When I signed up for Joy Council [the live version of Create Your Magical Year], I actually didn’t know a lot about Stratejoy. I’d heard of it, I knew people lovedit, but I wasn’t sure what it was all about. However, I’m a planner at heart and I want some big changes for 2012 so this course sounded perfect for me.This course was so much more.It made me think about the past year and acknowledge the awesome, the crappy, and everything in between. It made me think about what I want to push myself to do in 2012, but more importantly, how to make a plan and follow-through with goals I set for myself. I’m amazed that in three weeks I feel so at peace with 2011, and how naturally thinking about my life and challenging myself has become part of my routine. I love that I can go back and listen to all the calls and interviews whenever I need a little bit of inspiration – and I’m practically dancing in my seat with anticipation for the next year!Seriously Molly – THANK YOU! spacer xo,Becky

spacer Hi Molly!

Ok so, I just wanted to thank you times a million for all of the thought and effort and awesomeness you put into this process. I know you’re probably getting a lot of this, but I figure more never hurts spacer I’ve been reading Stratejoy for months now, but never pushed myself to sign up for anything, post any comments, email you…nothing! I was sitting there one day and saw the post about the Council [the live version of the Create Your Magical Year product!] and told myself that too many months had gone by of me being unhappy and not doing anything to make my life better, so I signed up.

It has literally been a huge, massive, eye-opening experience for me. It made me think about my life and what I really want, and most of all has given me the courage to stop sitting around complaining and start making things happen. I’ve finally realized that the only person who can make my life what I want it to be is me – no one else has the answers or can do the work for me. Honestly without you, I would probably be ending 2011 on a pretty ho-hum note and going into a 2012 full of a lot of the crap that 2011 held.

I’m so excited to see what this next year brings, and I’m really looking forward to moving forward with my goals and dreams for my life. I’m planning to make this coming year the year that shit gets done!! I’ve been hoping/wishing/dreaming/complaining/thinking for too long – it’s time to get moving!

So sorry for the lengthy email, I just want you to know how truly inspired you have made me, and what an AMAZING few weeks this has been. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and totally, totally would love to work with you some more, sooner than later.

Thanks again for everything, and have a fabulous holiday!

Janelle
