Watercolor Valentine in a Bitty Bag
February 3rd, 2012 § 0 comments
Hi friends! Today I have a fun project from design team member Lauren Donaldson to share with you. This is another fun Valentine’s Day that could be adapted to work for other special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries.
Here’s what Lauren says about her project:
These were easy watercolor Valentine's. I included the heart template that I used, one template for the small bitty bags and one template for the large bitty bags. I did a light pink watercolor wash on the hearts, stamped a message on them, and packaged them in small bitty tags with twine. List of materials needed: - small or large bitty bags, I used the grid & notebook ones - heart templates (Huge kudos to Lauren for making this for us!) - watercolor paper - red watercolor paint and brush - scissors - letter stamps and stamp pad - cotton candy divine twine

Bitty Bag Package Topper Tutorial
January 19th, 2012 § 0 comments
Hi friends! Today I have a fabulous project from design team member Lauren Donaldson to share with you. Lauren came up with a super clever and cute way to turn our Bitty Bags into a bow type element for gift wrapping. This is perfect if you use a plain box to wrap your package or you could use coordinating paper.
Here’s how Lauren made the cute flower/bow package toppers. Cut four circles (hers are 3.5 inches in diameter and she got them all from one Bitty Bag) from Bitty Bags and mark them in the center. Then she fringe cut them, adhered them all together and then fluffed them.
And here’s another example of the finished topper by itself.

Divine Twine Friendship Bracelet
November 17th, 2011 § 2 comments
Hi friends! Today, I have a fabulous project from design team member Lauren Donaldson to share with you. She had the super clever idea of making friendship bracelets from Divine Twine! How awesome is that? Here’s what Lauren has to say about her project:
For my project this month, I decided to use the Divine Twine to make friendship bracelets! Could be a fun little project for kids (and adults) alike to do during the holidays and think about the people that are important to them...who are the special people in your life who you'd make bracelets for? I think things like this are important to think about this time of year...food and presents are fun but family & friends are more important.
Materials used:
Airmail Divine Twine
Tape
Scissors

Bitty Bag Journal
October 20th, 2011 § 2 comments
Hi friends! Today, I have a fabulous project from design team member Lauren Donaldson to share with you. Lauren cleverly made a Bitty Bag into a journal and used some Divine Twine to hold it shut. These journals are perfect for putting in your purse or backpack to jot down your notes. Also, because they are made from a Bitty Bag, there’s a built in pocket for storing your photos and mementos. What a fabulous idea!
<< Materials Used >> - one Bigger Bitty Bag, I used the red polka dot - folded in half to make a notebook - Airmail Divine Twine - white cardstock - red eyelet - eyelet setter, I used the Crop-A-Dile - thread - either stitched through a sewing machine or by hand - Dymo label maker & tape

Baker’s Twine Spice Jar
September 15th, 2011 § 3 comments
Hi friends! Today I have a fun project to show you from design team member Lauren Donaldson. Lauren shows how you can dress up a vintage jar to create a lovely vase. These are simple enough to make a few at a time and you can use whichever Divine Twine color that matches your decor. You can also make a few in several different colors as a fun display. The small size of these jars would be perfect for displaying the flowers that your little ones pick for you since the stems are usually pretty short. I call these little guys my “mommy vases” since they are usually for the flowers my kids pick from the yard.
Materials List: - Divine Twine in any color - hot glue - vintage glass spice jar
