Very clever :) makes me wonder how would it be to develop a 100% honest brand.
And the idea of rethinking every logo I see with "truth goggles" is hilarious.
An idea for a series with honest logos, revealing the actual content of the company, what they really should be called. Some are cheap, some might be a bit funny, some will maybe be brilliant. I don't... more

I love the use of the logos to show what lurks beneath the brands. I mean, the human motives, the failures and the facts. Incredible imagination. Very clever!
your gift of creativity & insight is quite refreshing! Has sparked a few small fires in my small brain! You guys are great! Thanks for refreshing content!
They are all great! My favorite one is procrastination - isn't it so true? Right now that's what I'm doing...
But there is one of them, the Fazo-Ford one, that I could not understand... Could someone explain it to me, please?
Sorry, this was put in the wrong place, it looks like a reply to Melissa above, but it was meant to be a reply to Will's comment..
Will, thanks for taking your time and commenting! I will try to answer your questions as good as I can.
1. Who said that I dislike social networking and videogames? I love both, and these aren't an attack, they're not really meant to be taken seriously, but I thought that was pretty obvious.. As I said in the info, some are cheap. And I never called them "clever", those are the words of others.
2. Fazo is like I said in an above comment, a parody of "Fazer", who makes chocolate among other things. If you eat lots of chocolate, you'll become fat, a "fazo". Calories is a parody of Carlsberg, who produces beer, which contains calories.
3. The L'Irreal logo might fall flat for you (and others), but it was referring to all the beauty product commercials, with perfect people in it. The tagline is in French, use Google translate if you want to know what it means (or if you already know the language).
4. I'm not really sure what you mean here, could you explain it further?
5. What do you mean by "real"?
6. Of course, I'm aware of that. I just didn't have the time and patience to produce a complete brand identity for all these simple parody logos, but I will keep that in mind for upcoming projects.
7. If you're referring to this commenting system here on Designerscouch, I suggest you contact them. They run this site and has made the commenting system, not me.
Hey Viktor
I would have personally ignored that comment by Will as it seems a little bit on the "Troll" side. Just ignore the complaints and the unconstructive moans.
Humour/wit is as subjective as design and not all people will get all the references but those that do will be entertained.
I think it's a great idea and had a good giggle so don't let unhelpful remarks like Will's put you on the defensive. My fav ones are Vomit and McDiabetes so very almost true.
Look forward to seeing more of these in the future.

its a bit preachy, most of the logo's were designed long before people abused their initial intention. It's your life use the brands as you will. logos are honest. Also ou could have two companies logo's as procrastination but it would be uber confusing.
Great! very creative way to represent these logos and the emotions / society behind them. While you didn't create them coming up with the idea itself is the creative part, as per any project, the idea's are 99% of the design, doing it is the easy part.
My fav as per some other post is 'procrastination' but then again i should be working now, and i'm here commenting on this :D
Well done, and can't wait to see more.
Excellent idea! The consequences from using their products couldn't be much clearer :P Such a shame that the meaning of the MTV-logo has changed so much from the beginning and until today. Then, the new best thing and rebelic. Now, it really represent the logo in this post. So sad.
AH! :D
I really did laugh out loud at Fazo! It was so unexpected to see Fazer as one of the logos "deciphered"! I don't think that a very large percentage of people will recognize the Fazer logo, and as so, it makes a rather nice surprising inisde joke for us Finns... and Scandinavians too, I guess.
