We believe that an effective, responsive relationship with our institutional clients is the foundation to the B. Riley business model. Our sales professionals work closely with our equity research as well as our trading team to communicate proprietary ideas that generate greater returns for our clients. We invest considerable effort in understanding the investment objectives and risk tolerance of each of our clients, allowing us to recommend the most appropriate trading and investment ideas.
At the core of this effort is the trading team's focus on providing our institutional clients with excellent and timely execution of all trades. We make markets in over 100 securities, the majority of which are covered by our research team and stand ready to put the firm’s capital to work to facilitate customer trades.
FIX connectivity allows our clients the seamlessly integrate our order management system with their own. B. Riley continuously re-invests in its trading desk to ensure that its traders have the latest tools to access all major liquidity pools quickly and effectively.
