How To Get Others To Build Your Links

by Adrienne Smith on February 9, 2012

in Online Tools

spacer I have to give credit for today’s post to the lovely Brankica Underwood of Blog Like A Star. I read a post she wrote last December about a service that can actually help others build your links and I must admit, I got a little curious.

Now it’s not the regular backlinking strategies that most people are aware of and it’s not for everyone so you’ll just have to read on and form your own conclusion.

I uploaded the information to my site and wanted to give it a test drive before I shared this with you guys.  The site is called “Tynt”, have you ever heard of it?  Let me explain a little more about how this can benefit you. [I want to read more...]

My Lead System Pro Personal Review – MLSP

by Adrienne Smith on February 6, 2012

in Product Reviews

spacer In my first post of the year I mentioned that I would be doing some product reviews.  If you are online to build a business then you have already been hit with the realization that you will need certain products and services.

I prefer being able to get a behind the scenes look at them before I decide whether they are the right ones for me.  That’s why I personally love product reviews!

It’s even better when that review is being done by people I already know and trust.  I know that my friends and associates would never review a product they didn’t believe in themselves.

There are so many great products out there but let’s be honest.  We can’t buy them all although some people do their very best.

Is Your WordPress Blog Set Up Properly?

by Adrienne Smith on February 2, 2012

in Blogging

spacer I’ve been blogging since the summer of 2009 so I often forget just how much I really do know.  To me some of the simplest things I don’t even think about anymore.  I do remember starting out though and not knowing a darn thing.  I’ll admit, those times were tough.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping others who are so lost here online.   My heart just goes out to everyone who is where I was back then and still trying to figure things out.

My Aha Moment in 2012

I just had my first aha moment this week.  I had several people ask me at the very beginning of this year to write a post about pinging which I did just this week.  I admit I was very surprised at the number of people who weren’t familiar with this term.  I honestly had no idea so many people still didn’t know what it was or that WordPress automatically does this for you.

Are You Pinging Your Content?

by Adrienne Smith on January 30, 2012

in Online Marketing

spacer
I have another requested topic for you in today’s post.  As you probably noticed from the headline, it’s all about pinging.  If you aren’t pinging your content then this post is for you.  I’ve got some great tips I’ll be sharing with you so I do hope you’ll hang in here with me while I do my best to explain this as briefly as possible.

So What Is Pinging

Let’s say you have a brand new blog and you’re eager to start writing content. So you put all this hard work into sharing some valuable content but no one is showing up to read it.  I know in the beginning I use to think well I used some great keywords so why aren’t the search engines picking it up!  Create the content and they’ll just come right!

How To Set Up Social Media Icons In WordPress Using Socialize

by Adrienne Smith on January 26, 2012

in Blogging

spacer I have to start by asking you guys if you enjoyed Paul’s post on Monday?  Was that not awesome stuff or what! See what happens when you build relationships with other bloggers!

I visit his blog often cause he’s got great stuff, he’s so knowledgeable with what he shares, I usually still don’t understand a few things so I just ask him lots of questions. Thank goodness he has a lot of patience with me.  We got to talking and he told me he would love to help me further and a guest post/video was born.

With the information I have learned from him recently I made myself a promise that I was going to step up my game this year and shoot more videos.  This is another reason this post was born.

I’ve had several requests just within the last few weeks asking me how I set up my social media icons below my posts.  The plug-in I am using is called “Socialize” but there are a few settings you have to do that some people have found a little confusing.

How Bloggers and Content Marketers Can Generate Unlimited Video Ideas

by Adrienne Smith on January 23, 2012

in Videos

spacer As promised, this year I will be introducing some guest bloggers who I have asked to contribute some of their own special talents over here at my place.  For my first guest blog post of the year, I would like to introduce to you Mr. Paul Wolfe.  You can read more about Paul after this awesome post but let’s not tie this up any longer…

Today’s video tutorial came about because Adrienne asked me if I could help her with something that she was having some problems with.  And that something was this:

“How do I come up with ideas for videos?”

Now before we go and look at three ways that you cannot only come up with ideas for videos, but come up with limitless ideas, I just briefly want to talk for a moment about why it’s vitally important to come up with video ideas.

And not just topic ideas – but ideas that will resonate with your audience and more importantly, attract new members to your ideas. [I want to read more...]
