Using Social Media to Ignite Powerful, Sustainable Movements that Make Meaning and Money
Sponsored by: Arby's Foundation
Room: Baltimore B

  • Speaker: Amanda Hite, CEO and Founder of Talent Revolution, Inc.
Businesses, government and non-profits that work together to benefit society not only "do good," they "do well." Marketers today need to think in terms of long-term movements, not short-term campaigns. Campaigns have a beginning and an end. Movements live on as long as passionate people are connected and involved. The great ones go on indefinitely. Social media lends us new super powers to ignite powerful, sustainable online word-of-mouth movements that translate to offline action that makes meaningful change. In this session you'll learn how to leverage social media to: connect your business or organization to the communities you serve; organize and rally communities, influencers and advocates around a cause or idea; inspire these people to take action on- and offline; and ignite and sustain online movements that make meaning and money.
