Welcome to Joe Bike, a full-service retail and repair shop that specializes in the most advanced, most dependable, cleanest, most practical, and lowest-maintenance urban bikes available, equipped with Gates Carbon Drive, the best internally geared and dynamo hubs, and hydraulic or mechanical disc brakes.

With a staff made up of very experienced mechanics, some of whom are also framebuilders and bike designers, Joe Bike designs and handbuilds highly acclaimed cargo bikes such as the world-renowned, Portland-made ShuttleBug. We’re the world’s largest dealer of the Yuba Mundo longtail cargo bike and one of the industry’s pioneering utility bike shops and utility bike manufacturers. The Mundo (shown below) was also ranked among the top 5 in that article. Joe Bike is also the world’s largest dealer of the Buddy Bike, a line of compact tandems designed to let special-needs kids experience the joy of riding a bike.
