About

Soma Los Angeles is an Acts 29 church plant that exists to make disciples who make disciples in Los Angeles.  We currently have two locations, or “expressions” – our Burbank Expression located in the NoHo Arts District area of North Hollywood and the Culver City Expression in, you guessed it, Culver City.

We believe our sole purpose for being here is to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to a world that needs healing, redemption, and wholeness. This kind of true change and transformation can only come about through a relationship with the One who created us.

The Scriptures speak of the Church as a group of people from different walks of life who have, as their primary goal, a desire to become more like Jesus Christ, and to call others into that same relationship.

Everything we do at Soma Los Angeles flows from these two things: knowing God and making Him known. For this reason, we focus on community groups that meet together during the week, in addition to our Sunday Gathering. We use Sunday mornings for corporate worship and the teaching of God’s Word, but our community groups are truly where life in Christ is learned, lived and enjoyed.
