Valentine Cake Stick Treats
Today I want to show you how to make some Valentine Cake Stick Treats, which are easy, cute, and perfect for Valentine’s.
I was trying to come up with something fun that my kiddos could give their cousins on the 14th. I got the idea when my kids begged me at the store for some “Be My Valentine” Cakes from Little Debbie. I thought to myself, “Mmmm, I love these too!” And then I thought, “I think I just found their valentine idea.”
Here is what I did…
Super cute and easy – AND pink!!
This is what you’ll need so you can make some too:
SUPPLIES:
-”Be My Valentine” Cakes from Little Debbie – They come in Vanilla {pink}, Chocolate and Brownie {red}
- i {heart} you tags
- Candy cane sticks or left over candy canes
- Mini-Cellophane Bags
- Ribbon/Twine/Tulle
DIRECTIONS:
1. Gather all your supplies and unpackage your cakes.
2. You will then stick your candy canes through the bottom of your cakes. Do it gently and slowly. It may not go in perfectly, but will not be noticeable when you add your bag and ribbon.
3. Add your cake to a cellophane bag. I got mine at Joann’s. I cut off a few inches from the bottom. I then tied the bag with tulle, but you can use ribbon or twine.
4. Save and Print your tags by clicking on them and then right-clicking and saving. You will then cut or punch out your tags. You will then hole punch the top and add to your cake sticks.
Easy. Fun. Cute. Delish. Pink.
What more could a little kid ask for?
