I am a brand girl. I'll be the first to admit it. It bothers me a lot but I love the quality. I love paying for something and knowing that it will last for forever (or until I am totally fed up with it). I am willing to splurge a little on myself if I know I will wear, or use a product, over and over again. This was my plunge 2 weeks ago. I have wanted a pair of these boots since 2007 (before Bella in Twilight wore them & turned them into a craze). I love them. So happy I bought them.

Clients that grin through the cold are my favorite. Meet Sawyer! A session that was thrown together in a matter of days. The sneak peaks aren't "supposed" to be your favorite images from a session but these are. I absolutely love how these look! Check back in, in a few days to see the full session big & beautiful :)

Not really mid winter because it feels like it never started. It's still been a mild winter but today, I woke up (February 2nd) and noticed that it was extra foggy and all plants/trees were covered. My dead camera (I'm terrible about charging it) was charged for 20 minutes before I decided to go out and see what I could find :)

School is in full swing & I can definitely feel it. I don't have that many classes, but the load is heavy. Memorizing all the state standards for preschools by DCFS? Designing and building an entire preschool based on DCFS standards? It doesn't sound stressful but this girl gets stressed super easy. Here's to many cups of hot chocolate at all times of the day :)

....I was going to share the color version of this image. There has been a few times on the blog when I said I was going to do something. I said I was going to share the rest of Dustin & Emilee's images & I never did...I might still get around to sharing them but first things first. The image below is still one of my favorites....and now that I've stared at in black and white I'm starting to love the color more. 

& then the bottom image was just a cute one that I enjoyed. Fuzzy one thinks he's superior to the other doggies & I often find him snuggled on the couch a few feet from me. 

A gorgeous photo of a gorgeous gal. Wasn't a tough edit but I dig the more simple process than a lot of those I've seen.
