Girl in the Green Apron is more than sharing simple, healthy and yummy recipes.  It is also about sharing the benefits of the nourishing foods you consume.  We support buying local and organic while supplementing our ingredients with what we grow in our own backyard garden.

We understand how it is to be too busy to prepare healthy meals. Like most people, we work or go to school all day, and then hit the gym for a quick workout and head home wondering what’s for dinner?  Spending a lot time to prepare and cook a healthy meal is the last thing most people want to do after a long day.  We will share with you some simple and easy to recipes that can be prepared quickly. We will incorporate local, organic and what we grow into these recipes.

We hope to inspire others to live a sustainable and healthy lifestyle through eating organic, local and whole foods. We believe that through eating natural whole foods, you will not only look and feel better, but you can help prevent illnesses and also help heal your body and soul. Let’s face it, without good health you can’t enjoy anything in your life. So cheers to your good health!
