“Food, photography, and what I love -bits and pieces of a traveled life.”
Here it is - my first blog born June 2011! Feedback appreciated and loved.
Food: I never learned to really cook well until after college. Cooking quickly became more than just making something to eat for me. I love, love, love experimenting and expanding my culinary abilities. Music blasting, glass of wine in hand, {now} ipad set up with other blogger’s inspirations. My goal is to document all of our family recipes and bring in many new ones. I am not really a recipe person when it comes to my own dishes, I just throw in a bit of this and a bit of that which has made documenting recipes a fun challenge. Photography: By no means a professional photog, but I love what you can do with a DSLR and some creativity. Most of my pictures are of food and travel, but every once in a while someone asks me to take family pictures. Just got a great Macro lens for Christmas so hoping my photography here improves. Travel: I travel for my job, so I try to document the exciting places I see and take note of the best things to see and do.As for me-I grew up in Orlando Florida (Catholic School for 13 yrs!) and graduated from the University of Miami with a Degree in Marketing & Organizational Management. I’m passionate about fashion and a complete cosmetic product junkie. I love cooking and have recently taken up photography just for fun. A tech lover at heart and I jump at the opportunity to have the newest gadget/software.
I work for a San Francisco based SaaS firm as a Director managing sales teams all over Canada and the West half of the US so I travel a ton. My boyfriend Peter and I moved back to Miami January 2011 after living in Los Angeles for almost 4 years. We have a cat named Cali (she acts more like a dog than a cat) that I adopted on a whim in San Francisco that I love dearly. You will get to know me a bit more if you follow this blog…that is if you want to.
{ All of the photography on this blog are my photos and taken with a Canon Rebel T2i. }
