Nothing to see here
I AM out of the UK for a little while and catching matches while I’m gone is not going to be easy. I’ll update when I can and the brother of Goodplaya may update too. I caught the first half an hour of yesterday before leaving the country, which was a little drossy frankly. But other than our very nice equaliser I haven’t seen much more.
So I’ll leave it at that.

United deserved to win. Arsene can say that we were in control when they got the winner. While we were better in the 2nd half, there’s no doubt that United deserved to win, with or without “the” substitution. Although the justification post-game was that he was sick during the week, beginning to feel his calf, etc., it smacked of the seniority-type sub we’ve seen from the manager in the past. walcott was hopeless and should have been the one taken off, i would have been ok with arshavin for theo. theo seems to be almost immune from being subbed.
Other than that – djourou was crap and rightly subbed, i thought song had one of his worst games in quite some time. bright spots – kosielny, oxlade-chamberlain. ramsey tried hard again, but nothing is coming off at the minute for him. when arteta gets back, i think rosicky should start for a few games.
good news: chelsea drew, liverpool lost, we’re only 5 points out of 4th with 16 games to go. but we would have to improve a helluva lot to make 4th. -

Actually Chelsea gained the most from all last weekends results. 5 points like it or not is still quite a gap.
