Since its inception, it has been our goal at Artessen to bring together some of the best design and lifestyle blogs under one roof, as well as to use this platform to promote the works of emerging artists, designers and creative professionals. Over the past 2 years, we have received lots of support and encouragement from many in the community, and in turn we have been gratified that we have been able to send a good amount of traffic to those blogs that have been featured on our site.

As regular users of Artessen would know, we have always credited the creators of the content (i.e. the blog owners) and linked to the source websites in multiple places. We have never simply taken somebody else's work, blog content or photographs, and tried to pass these off as our own.

It was an ambitious concept, and one that required a lot of technology, and while this was probably not apparent from the outside, quite a bit of cost to maintain the servers that powered the website. Not to mention countless hours of designing, coding, discussing, promoting, answering emails and so on.

Unfortunately, as a bootstrapped project, we are no longer able to continue supporting this website and regret to say that we will no longer be updating and maintaining Artessen.com, as well as its sister sites, with immediate effect.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal users, sponsors, and the many generous bloggers who have written in support of this project over the past 2 years. We hope that all of you will continue creating, designing and sharing great content with the world!
