Restorations in One Visit with CEREC Crowns from Dr. Edderai
A tooth that’s cracked or broken needs help, and in the past, the only way to treat a damaged tooth was with a traditional crown. Traditional crowns require at least two visits—one to prepare your tooth for placement, another to put your permanent crown in place.
There’s always a chance, though, that your temporary crown could fall out or crack somewhere in between, requiring an extra appointment on top your two expected appointments. But with CEREC technology, from Dr. Edderai’s North Miami Beach office, patients can get the care they need in just one appointment.

Obesity, Diabetes, and Your Oral Health
It can be easy to think of health problems as existing in their own little bubble. That one problem could be the cause of another isn’t always something we think about.
But the truth is the human body is one interconnected system. And, as more and more studies are showing, that interconnectedness includes your oral health. Even problems like obesity, diabetes, and gum disease are proving to be connected.

Snap-On Smile Delivers Natural-Looking Results for Less
An elaborate smile-makeover can yield beautiful results, but not everyone can afford one or is even a candidate for one. That’s why, at Dr. Edderai’s North Miami Beach office, we’re transforming smiles with Snap-On Smile. With Snap-On Smile, patients can enjoy a glamorous, natural-looking smile for less than what dental implants or another restorative or cosmetic treatment costs.
Getting Started Is Easy
Getting set up with Snap-On Smile takes just a few simple steps. First, you’ll be asked to select a style and shade. Then, Dr. Edderai will take impressions of your teeth and send them off to the Snap-On Smile lab. Once your new smile’s ready, you’ll just need to come back to our North Miami Beach office so we can see if your Snap-On Smile fits correctly. If it does, then you’re all done. You can leave our office feeling confident about your new smile.
What’s more, you can even leave your Snap-On Smile in during meals. That’s because your new smile will be made from strong yet thin dental resin. And, if properly cared for, your new smile can last for as long as five years.
Change Your Life with a Beautiful New Smile
If you live in or around North Miami Beach, call Dr. Edderai’s office to find out more about Snap-On Smile and how it can change lives.
Tips for Maintaining Your Oral Health During Pregnancy
If you’re expecting, you’ve got a lot to take care of over the next nine months—things like putting together a nursery and visiting your doctor for sonograms and checkups. And besides all that, you’ll need lots of rest.
But with all that’s going on, don’t forget to take care of your smile. Gum disease can not only have a serious impact on your oral health, it has even been connected with instances of premature birth. Making matter worse, during pregnancy your progesterone levels will go up, making your gums more vulnerable to plaque—one of the key causes of gum disease.

Protect Your Entire Body with a Healthy Smile
You already know that not brushing or flossing makes you vulnerable to cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay. But did you also know an unhealthy smile can affect the rest of your body, too?
As bacteria and plaque weaken the integrity of your gum’s soft tissue, pockets are created between your gums and teeth. Once formed, these pockets can give bacteria an opportunity to spread to other parts of your body, including your heart, where the presence of bacteria can stimulate the production of plaque and put you at greater risk for heart attack.

Prevention…..the key…to health
Do you know where the oral bacteria stays?
Periodontal disease should be viewed as a systemic problem simply because it travels with our saliva through our digestive track to later infiltrate into any major organ of our body such as the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen…etc. The many causes of periodontitis include poor home care resulting from abandonment of the regular visits to the dentist to poor nutrition, immunity and hormonal imbalances in females such as pregnancy or menopause. The disorder may also indicate a serious underlyin condition, such as diabetes, anemia.
Remember Bacteria can only live and it reproduces under an acid media, acid destroys all matter.
