Skyscraper

This is another look before going to work. The ttile was “Scyscraper” because it was stuck inside my mind this last few days. Yeah, you call that “Last Song Syndrome” or LSS. I keep singing it and I just don’t know why. I actually recorded this song but it sucks. Haha. If I have courage, I will post it. Singing makes me really feel relaxed. I will post another cover on Valentines day, February 14. Watch out for that. I recorded a love song. Haha.

Well, I already started my IV training yesterday and we will have our return demonstration on the following weeks. I miss listening to lectures and studying though but the problem here is, how can I review and memorize all the procedures if I also go to work as well? Haha. I will be a super girl this month and I am looking forward for more blessings.

Viva Violet

This has been a busy week for me. I will not take my rest days anymore because I enrolled in an IV training in Veterans Hospital. My off or rest days will be this coming Saturday and Sunday but I have a schedule for that training. I somehow feel that I still wanted to perform my profession that is why I find time to improve my knowledge and skills in nursing. It is very hard to have different schedule. Whenever everyone sleeps, I will just go to work and when I sleep, everybody’s awake. It is so difficult and tiring. I took photos before going to work.

Fashion Trend in 2012

It’s just the start of the year but I can feel the urge to shop for new clothes. Is it probably because I’ve worn almost all of my clothes and since it’s a new year, I want to wear a new set of clothes? Or is it because the fashion trend has changed already?

Well, I guess the answers to these questions are both yes. I’ve read that styles will change in 2012. We will say goodbye to elephant pants, espadrilles, cropped tops, and sheer skirts and say hello to a more vibrant and youthful fashion scene.

Here are the fashion trends that you will see in 2012…

-          Color blocking. Yes it started in 2011, but this trend is here to stay. So if you have the color blocking clothes, keep it especially the vibrant colored ones.

-          Light peach, yellow, and beige are staples in 2012. Boring? Naah, pair it with a vibrant colored blazer and you are good to go.

-          Prints, prints, and prints. Yes, huge prints are making a comeback this year. Big prints, print on prints, man, I can’t imagine how it looks like, but it sure will be trend this year. This includes futuristic prints that I saw late last year.

I actually dress traditionally and would usually go for neutral and earthly colors but after reading a couple of articles about the fashion trends for 2012, I can’t help but think of trying these. Huge prints, futuristic prints, color blocking, I haven’t tried that before. But who knows maybe I will learn to love and appreciate it. After all, who wouldn’t want a youthful scene, right!?

Year-end High school Reunion

This is actually a late post. We had our reunion last December 30, 2011 in Cavite. Yes, actually we lived in Bacoor, Cavite 5 years ago and I spent my high school life there. It is very hard for me to meet them though because I am living now in Manila and whenever they have gatherings, it is very hard for me to look for my time to go there and bond with them. I saw them actually 2 years ago that is why I grabbed the opportunity to be with them.

I did not wear a lot of accessories on that event because I am not really into those things. I just wear my gold earrings and watch as usual. I might play with accessories soon. I’ll try to have more. Haha.

We had a chance to vote for our classmates in the following categories: “Best Dressed (Female)”, “Best Dressed (Male)”, “King of the Night”, “Queen of the Night” and “Star of the Night”. And guess what? I got the titles, “Best Dressed (Female)” and “Queen of the Night“. Thank you for voting me. *blush*

That was a really fun experience and it is really nice sharing and talking about your experiences during high school.

Before I end this post, I just want greet my very good friend a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Looking for the Right Shade

I am really addicted to lipsticks. I am really amazed how it changes the whole look with just a proper shade. Some of the colors will make you look simple and some will bring out the elegance in you. Now, the question is: What is the best shade for you?

NOTE: This is just my personal opinion. I did not mention any brands. I’ll do it on my next post.

This pink shade is really what I love. It brings out your feminine side and makes you feel like a girl. This will make your face and look fresh and vibrant. You can try this as your everyday lipstick shade and perfect to all students.

This red lipstick is what I really use because of my work. You know my schedule is very weird and draining. I work from 2am to 10am so to prevent looking like a zombie, you should have this shade to make you look alive. Haha. Kidding aside, this look is perfect for elegant date, paired with black dress or any special events. It will make you stand out. There are a lot of red shades so you can pick whatever you like.
