Sorry for being MIA for a while. I was so busy with school activities. You know how hectic our schedule for the past days in preparation for our 50th foundation week. I’m so in love with all the shirt designs that were sold last week as a memorabilia. Too bad, I was not able to buy one because I lack out of savings. The highlights for this year’s foundation week are the Coronation night, cheerdance competition and student’s night. I was really busy preparing for some stuff because I am a part of our department’s officers this year.

I was a part of the props team and I am so proud for what we did. Well done I must say. We got the 1st place, yes, champion! We were all overjoyed for the success. Thanks God! For the pageant, we got Ms. Talent and our female candidate also got into the top 5. She is really stunning! And of course, our male candidate too. I wish I can show you some of the photos during the coronation night. But I still don’t have permission from the photos’ owners (and I’m shy to ask to. LOL!). I will forever love my department! Go Computer Engineering!

Hey there! I got the chance to finally fix my website. This was actually my personal blog way back 2009. Then I continued transferring to new domains every now and then. I have reasons why I deleted wordpress at diannekarol.com. First, I don’t like my classmates browsing that site anymore. They have this crazy habit of googling your full name during our laboratory class and then make fun of all the photos they’ll see. And since I have a blog named after my name, then they can instantly browse all the pages and read all the contents of it whenever they want to! I don’t like it. Second, I just don’t feel like blogging there anymore. But its too precious for me to be wasted.

There you go. It is still under construction because I just got this design from a jQuery tutorial blog. I actually want to make a layout from scratch which I can call mine. LOL!

I really have no plans to rant today. But since I am in the mood to blog, why not take the opportunity? LOL! I bought an iWhite nose pack a couple of days ago. This is the second time that I will be using it. I’m so irritated with blackheads, and I will try whatever the cheapest remedy I can get to make those blackheads go away! My friend told me, that it is not really visible on me, but I still can see it. So, it does matter.

It’s sticky and white like the typical nose pack. Upon application, I felt a mild pain. Maybe because it pulls the blackheads upward and make it stick with the nose pack. I don’t know, but I believe it works that way. Once peeled, you can feel smoothness on the surface of your nose. You can already notice the difference. Plus, it smells good actually.

I got myself another domain. This time, I will be focusing on a different type of niche. I know, I am a big fan of fashion blogs. In fact, I have three fashion blogs now. It makes my head drained every time I am writing three different topics about fashion on three different blogs. But I must also admit that these blogs are the ones that generates most of my income as a blogger.

By the way, I will be revamping diannekarol.com into a new personal website. (not a wordpress blog anymore!)

I always go gaga whenever godaddy have its $1 sale. Who would not want to grab a domain worth a single dollar? I will keep my new blog a secret for now. I still need to dress it up and fix everything. Most probably not this week nor the next. I will be really busy because of midterm examinations and some school activities.

PS: But of course, I will never leave ohlockedheart. It will always be my personal blog. <3

Last night, I was so busy visiting and reading your blog posts. I suddenly saw different instagram photos and made me ecstatic to try it right away! So I immediately logged in to my account and realized I only have one instagram photo there. I played with the effects and made different instagram photos out of my album. I totally like it! Its my classmate’s birthday today. He is actually my classmate since we were still in first year. Yes, we are classmates for three consecutive years already! He is the only classmate I have who stayed that long as my classmate. Same section until now! Here are some of the photos I took. Its crappy, I know!

I religiously check my email everyday. What I hate about this are those emails with expiration domain alerts. I have 18 domains in my godaddy account. Some of them are not mine, obviously. Either my sister’s blog or my friends’ blogs. But of course, majority of it are mine. So you think that I only have five domains to renew? WRONG! I still have some expiring blogs on other domain registrars. See how bad I need $$$ to renew them all. LOL! No worries, just believe!

I was having hard time sleeping last night because of my mild fever. I think I slept around 5 am already. I thought I will have a comfortable sleep that time but things happened that I suddenly felt something unusual on my neck. I woke up in pain! I can’t move my head. I can’t turn my body, it makes my neck hurt more. I pushed myself to sleep even how hurtful that night was. I woke up around 12 noon. Still, my neck hurts so much. I can’t hardly move, I can’t turn my head. I thought massaging it would make it feel better but no, it gets worse.

Still, I don’t want to take this as a reason for me to be idle. So I decided to go to the mall to have my eye check up. The doctor advised me to get eyeglass as soon as possible. To cut the story short, I immediately bought an eyeglasses. Good thing, I was able to withdraw some amount before I went there. (thanks to blogging, I was able to buy an eyeglasses. Praise God!)

Ooopps, I blurred the price for confidentiality. LOL!

I was not able to get it today. The lens I need is out of stock so they need to wait until tomorrow for the lens. I will go back there tomorrow to claim it. Afterwards, I went to church even how painful my neck is. (it was funny how I turned my whole body around instead of just moving my head, and tell the person at my back, “peace be with you”. LOL!)

PS:// Don’t ever try to have your eye check up when you have stiff neck. It hurts more acting like you are not in pain! Especially the part where you need to put your face straight to that machine!

We had our outreach activity last January 14, 2012 in partnership with Silid Aralan. This will be a four consecutive Saturday’s activity, I guess. It was tiring but definitely fun! We will have a set of topics to be discussed focusing on MS Office. The truth is, I really enjoy doing such activities like this. I love teaching, by the way. If ever I didn’t take up BS Computer Engineering, I might be in the field of education by now. Still, even without a degree of education, I can still be a part of the academy after I graduate (I hope!). I was once a part of a computer literacy program way back my high school days. But that was way different from today. We were teaching HS teachers who were not yet knowledgeable with computer programs, especially the basic, MS Office. It was a great experience!
