About

My web design career started at age 14 when I started interning at LunarFly LLC with Jeremy DeYoung. He was an integral part of my early knowledge of web site design and Coldfusion. From then on I just knew that web design was in my future.

I started taking web design classes at Lake Mary High School in Florida which gave me a firm grasp on HTML and CSS concepts. My major at Middle Tennessee State University was in Computer Engineering Technology, and I also recieved a minor in Computer Science. The CS minor gave me experience with OO programming in C#, and C++. Computer Engineering I think give me a unique perspective of programming. It taught me how to be a problem solver, which I find extremely useful in the programming world.

Nowadays I am an ASP.net MVC3 developer. I picked it up in December of 2009 and I have settled down nicely with it. JavaScript has also become one of my favorite languages to program in. With jQuery manipulating the DOM is easy, but I am getting even deeper into structured JavaScript applications using Backbone, Knockout, RequireJS and a few other JS libraries.

I now make it my goal to be a broad programmer. I have found that once I understood the concepts of programming, I could learn just about any language that uses it! They are after all just about all the same, just syntax differences. An object is an object, and it’s all just 1′s and 0′s anyways right???

You can find me on Twitter @jcreamer898ย and at my personal site jcreamerlive.com. Feel free to contact me anytime! I love talking about programming and meeting new people who share that passion.
