About VlogTalk
VlogTalk is a weekly linkup for vlog posts. We provide 3 prompts on Thursdays for you to choose from and on Monday nights starting around 8pm PST (11pm EST). The link will be open for one week.
We are very excited about VlogTalk as we hope it will encourage more people to step out of their comfort zones and get in front of the camera.
We host a weekly Twitter chat using #vlogtalk every Tuesday evening at 6-7pm PST (9-10pm EST) where we discuss all things vlogging.
Some guidelines on VlogTalk:
You must have a vlog based on one of the given prompts to link up.
Link up directly to your vlog post.
Maximum time limit is 4 minutes for the vlog.
Grab our button and put it in your post.
We look forward to watching your vlogs.

Hi Rachel, glad to hear you are going to try vlogging. First, relax. The first one is the hardest to do but it really is easy. Practice what you are going to say before recording it and have some notes if you need them. Also, take advantage of editing. One of the things we recommend is to do smaller clips and piece them together. We can give you tips for using Windows Movie Maker (for PCs) and for iMovie (for Macs). If you have any other questions you can comment, email, tweet, or send us a message on Facebook.

I really am trying to prepare to do a vlog. I just feel like such an idiot. However as I stalk this site, I am glad to read in the comments about windows movie maker, who knew?!?!? I was wondering how people made edits, titles, transitions, etc. Maybe the light bulb is going off……………. Thanks!
