Passports With Purpose
This annual travel bloggers fundraiser is in its fourth year and in the past, more than 100 travel bloggers participated, raising money to help construct a village in India and a school in rural Cambodia. Travel bloggers have joined forces again this year to promote reading. The goal is to raise funds to build two libraries in Zambia in a partnership with Room To Read, an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating children.
The Prize So, back to that gift for the fabulously, fashionable travelista; as you probably know by now, I am a traveler who runs, and a runner who travels, often making weekend jaunts to races in my quest to run the world. On these trips – or any trip, for that matter – I don’t need or want to be weighed down by a large bag. All I need is a bag with enough space for a change of clothes or two, a race outfit, including running shoes and a laptop. Enter the functional, fashionable O.G. bag from the family based company Lo & Sons. |
If God is in the details, then we should all be singing the praises of the O.G. Made of durable, light-weight material, the inside of the bag features two padded compartments - a larger one for a laptop and a smaller one can be used for an iPad – and enough space to accommodate your weekend travel essentials. The exterior features a side pocket for a pair of shoes and a back sleeve to attach the bag over a suitcase handle. The leather straps, or detachable messenger strap, can be used to transform the O.G. from a functional travel or gym bag, to one that is sleek and chic enough to tote around the world’s most stylish destinations.
How To Participate
Go to the Passports With Purpose website to see the O.G. and the full list of prizes on offer. With the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket, not only are you helping Passports With Purpose build libraries in Zambia, you are also entering to win a prize of your choice. The fundraiser begins November 30th and ends December 16, 2011, and all proceeds go directly to Room to Read.
I would like to thank Lo & Sons for providing the O.G. bag for me to review and for donating one in support of this cause.
