This is a terrific opportunity to see our program in action, learn about how we operate, and to have any questions answered.
Please allow enough time before your tour to stop by the school's main office to sign in and receive a visitor's badge. The school and main office are located at the intersection of Rose and Grant streets, and the Edible Schoolyard is on the school campus, just at the north terminus of Grant Street. Take a right after you pass through the school gate, and you will see the Edible Schoolyard kitchen building and garden.

The summer of 2012 will mark the fourth annual Academy at the Edible Schoolyard. This training program is designed to support emerging and established garden and kitchen programs nationwide. Led by Edible Schoolyard staff and guest presenters, the Academy provides a three-day immersion in the practices and philosophy of the Edible Schoolyard. Through hands-on activities, presentations, guided discussion and curriculum-building sessions, participants learn the tools of edible education -- an integrated approach to education in the garden, kitchen and classroom.
