Texas Red Grapefruit
Texas Red Grapefruit are sweet, juicy and tree-ripened, literally stored on the tree to peak of perfection. Texas produces the following trademarked categories of grapefruit:
Rio Star® Category
Combines the two reddest varieties – Rio Red and Star Ruby grapefruit. It has an overall blush on the exterior peel with a deep red interior color which is 7 to 10 times redder than the Ruby Red.
Ruby-Sweet® Category
Includes the famous Ruby Red, and other redder varieties – Henderson and Ray. Its smooth, yellow skin is naturally tinged with a reddish blush, and an interior color 3 to 5 times redder than Ruby Red.
Flame Category
Red but not too red, with the sweet, delectable taste as the Ruby-Sweet and Rio Star. Available at certain times from October through May.
All varieties are available in grocery stores from October to May.

Texas Oranges
Texas oranges are tree-ripened, literally stored on the tree to the peak of perfection. All varieties have very sweet flavors and lots of juice. They are shipped from October to May throughout the United States and Canada. Texas produces the following categories of oranges:
Early and Mid-Season Varieties
These varieties include Marrs, Hamlins and Pineapples. All are excellent juice oranges available from October to mid-February.
Navel Oranges
A wonderful seedless “peel & eat” orange available from mid-October to mid-January. The thicker, pebbled skin makes it easier to remove by hand and causes orange segments to separate a little bit easier.
Valencia Oranges
A late maturing orange with excellent color and juicing quality available from mid-February to the end of May. This orange adds flavor to salads, smoothies or marinades.
