    Take action NOW! If your US Representative is on the Transportation Committee, tell them to preserve walking and biking. The House released its transportation bill, the American Energy and Infrastructure Jobs Act. We expected the bill to be bad news for walking and biking. But we didn't think it would go so far as to reverse all progress pedestrian and bicycle advocates have made over the past 20 years.

  • January 30, 2012California AG Sues Over San Diego's Transportation FutureThe San Diego Association of Governments was the first regional agency to have to comply with a new state law requiring its transportation plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions over the next 25 years. The governor's office and state Attorney General Kamala Harris said the plan didn't go far enough to get San Diego drivers off the road and into buses, trolleys or bike lanes.
