About The Roosevelt Neighborhood Blog

Roosevelt is a Seattle neighborhood bordered by Ravenna and Greenlake to the east and west, and by Maple Leaf and the University District to the north and south. (See our post, “Where is Roosevelt?”)

The Roosevelt Neighborhood Blog (a.k.a. “Roosiehood”) was founded in 2010 to cover news, activities, events, and stories that are relevant to the people who call our ‘hood home. We may be small, but within our boundaries, we’ve got Roosevelt High School, a bustling business district, the Roosevelt Reservoir, and a few little parks, including Froula, Cowen, and Rainbow Point.

Roosiehood is proud to be a Seattle Times local news partner.
